At the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, helping kick off the return of Solo Boxeo, Abner Cotto (6-0, 4KOs) would take on Californian Juan Sandoval in a four round Lightweight bout. Cotto would pitch a shutout by winning a unanimous decision with scores of 40-36 across the board. [Click Here To Read More]

    Guerrero-Fana

How about Guerrero-Fana for the RING title at 130?

Guerrero was supposed to defend his IBF Jr. Lightweight belt against Fana. However, due to finances (e.g., not a big enough purse against a SA fighter) and the sickness of his wife, he did not fight and gave up the belt.

We need to have the Guerrero-Fana fight happen. Guerrero is rated #1 at 130 and Fana is #2 according to RING. Therefore, we could easily (because one ABC body is involved) get a new RING champ.

    Any odds of this happening?

None. Guerrero will never go back to 130. ANd Rocky Martinez is the new #1. By Next Week he will be ranked as #1

Guerrero doesn't want to fight at 130 anymore, but it's really too bad because I'd love to see him kick the crap out of the incredibly overrated Fana and his South African sidekick Baloyi.
