What do you think would win the fight for you? if a C-ish B level guy foguht a A, A+ hall of famer guy both in there primes, out of 5 fights would the man with the style to beat the great win 3 or more times,or will the raw natural talentof the hall of famer be able to overcome, and no draws if u had to chose would it be style of skill or skill over style?

An A level hall of fame fighter in his prime is always going to beat a B level fighter...this isn't exactly a dumb question, but its not very well thought out. -
Sometimes even a B level fighter can have the style to always give an A level fighter fits.Originally posted by oldgringoAn A level hall of fame fighter in his prime is always going to beat a B level fighter...this isn't exactly a dumb question, but its not very well thought out.Comment

I would want skill rather than style, but unfortunately we are going to see a C+ fighter (Gatti) get butchered by an A+ fighter (Mayweather) in a couple weeks.Comment

But how many A level, HOF fighters in top of their games can you think of being beaten by a B level fighter with a good style to beat their own?
The only real case I can think of was Tyson/Douglas...but Tyson is a different animal so who knows.
Giving someone fits is completely different then beating someone.Comment

I think that skill is more important than natural athletic ability, if you include things like staying calm under pressure and determination under the "skill" category.Comment

i think u missed the question, An level C or B level guy can beat a level A A+ guy if he has a style to beat him in my opnion, he wont always but id rather have style to make up for skill instead of having skill which deteriorates over time for someOriginally posted by oldgringoAn A level hall of fame fighter in his prime is always going to beat a B level fighter...this isn't exactly a dumb question, but its not very well thought out.Comment

so a C level guy like chris byrd for example fought an A+ fighter like joe louis. i can only see the A+ fighter winning all the time.Originally posted by SturmRulesi think u missed the question, An level C or B level guy can beat a level A A+ guy if he has a style to beat him in my opnion, he wont always but id rather have style to make up for skill instead of having skill which deteriorates over time for someComment

I don't really know what this thread is about, because I didn't read any of the posts (I'm kind of too lazy to do that right about now.) but Style beats Skill everytime, unless the Skill is the ability to make adjustments.Comment
