I agree on it doing an insane # (possibly 2+ million), but a bigger name than De La Hoya is pushing it. There's a lot of factors that go into why Floyd is averaging more PPV buys than him.

Oh and Oscar maintained and even increased his PPV buys throughout his career despite having lossed 5 times going in to his last fight.
