Excuse my ignorance, but what kind of tourney puts a former champion like Herbie Hide, with 53 fights, in with a 5-3-2 opponent? Why is a 25-7 Mark Krence fighting a 4-2 opponent?

Ok. But it seems like Herbie has been fighting tuneups for his entire 3 1/2 years as a cruiserweight. His best opponent in that time has been, who? Ruediger May, a 33-year-old washed up former title challenger with 11 KOs in 43 wins? Not much on Herbie's record in the past decade since losing to Vitali K and it seems like he should be a bit beyond fighting a 5-2-2 fighter. At 38, I hope he gets his title shot pretty damn soon
