Saw the video, Hasegawa's left arm was holding on the ropes while the right arm was down. Montiel was blasting away. Hasegawa wasn't bobbing his head to avoid punches, he was dazed. I don't like ref Cole but he did the right thing. I am not even a fan of Montiel.

Good stoppage in my opinion especially when they show the different angle replays. He was out in his feet and his arm entangled on the ropes sealed his fate. I wouldn't mind a rematch though. It was a competitive fight

If you look at Hasegawa's head right before the stoppage, his head was down already.
