  • Zab Judah...Does he have any fans?

Okay this is my second post in like 5 minutes. Sorry about that. Just is I just found this forum imagine having no other outlet to talk about boxing. You guys seem knowledgable and opinionated. So thats my explanation for all the posts.

I need to vent on Judah. Is there a more unlikeable guy in boxing? For someone who has done so little, he really has a big mouth. Didnt his layout at the hands of Tszyu teach him anything?

Also anyone else think his arms are way too short for boxing? Or his gloves too big? I dont know something about him doesnt look right.

I welcome all the Judah supporters to attack me thats fine.

P.S. I have nothing against glass jawed fighters, my favorite boxer was Terrible Jaw Terry Norris.

I hope this guy gets laid out, or changes his attitude completely. But atleast boxing is one of the few sports where you can get humbled real quick.

Seems to me that everyone who criticzes Judah must have stepped into a time machine sometime after the Tszyu fight and arrived in the present like five minutes ago. The guy has changed a lot since then. Why is it that he is the only fighter that people criticize for self-promotion? What, every other fighter talks about what pieces of **** they are in the ring?

By the way, welcome to the site .

he WAS humbled. it was his fight against tszyu, he was KOd, lost his temper, was suspended, and now hes back. after his two fights with cory spinks, hes obviously matured. sure, hes still a blabbermouth, but now he can back it up.

i know some1 whos more unlikable in boxing: floyd mayweather jr. as good as floyd is, hes so damn arrogant.

True, i would have too agree. But Judah seems like the type to take it too far. Like start a fight outside the ring with an autograph seeker. Maybe its presumptuos of me since I dont know him. Or maybe its his association with Tyson. Just rubs me the wrong way. However I did like his apologies after his last fight. He is definately the type of fighter I usually love however.

You're not the only one who doesn't like him here, and that's all right cause he's not everyone's cup of tea. I just don't like it when guys say this or that fighter could easily beat him when they're basing their opinion of Judah solely on his attitude and the fight with Tszyu. I'm not saying you're doing that, btw, I'm speaking in general terms here.

Fact is that the guy is this close to being a truly great fighter. He will probably never quite make it, but you can't discount him against anyone.

im only starting to be a zab judah fan. hes one of the few southpaws i like, hes flashy, and hes the rare combination of a fast boxer with a punchers power. the only two things i dont like about him are his arrogance and his glass jaw. aside from that, zab's ok in my book.

Im a hypocrite though because one of my favorite fighters was macho camacho. Could it get worse than him?

Thats probably because of my father though. Since we're countrymen.

I wouldnt count him out though.

              Ex.. Terry Norris
              Lennox Lewis

They all had terrible chins, but had Tremendous boxing skills. Yes For a super heavy I think Lewis had great skills.

i like camacho, too. i used to despise loudmouths like zab judah, hector camacho, floyd mayweather, pernell whitaker (still hate whitaker), james toney, john ruiz (still hate ruiz), juan carlos gomez, antonio tarver (still DISLIKE tarver), and lennox lewis (still hate lewis). most of these guys i like except whitaker (whiner and complainer), ruiz (liar and phoney), tarver (phoney), and lewis (liar and phoney). the other guys are good because not only are they loudmouths, sometimes they can be really funny and they can back it up, too.

Judah deserves respect for taking the Spinks rematch for peanuts (in boxing terms). So many fights don't get made because of many fighters inflated opinion of their worth.
He has grown up since the childish tantrums post Tszyu. He is consistantly entertaining and whilst I still don't think he can beat Tszyu, I bet he would jump at the chance of a rematch.
