nah he break's it down as 40 for the fight 20 in sponsorship, he doesn't make clear the ppv split, but lets assume ppv's in that mix, what kind of financial forecasting has he done to arrive at the ppv numbers???, or is he getting a guaranteed 20mil of the ppv revenues, but that can't be it because if guaranteed then it could be legitimately reported as a 40 mil purse. I'd say eased up off the flavor aid on this one. Whats more plausible is that Money May is overestimating/exaggerating, his purse and hence the magnitude of the fight and by extension his own status as boxing Numero 1.

I hear what you saying and I honestly don't know how much Floyd is making and he prolly does exaggerate about how much he makes but everybody knows Floyd say crazy things all the time so I don't understand why everybody holds on to every word that comes out his mouth especially when they don't even like him

Why would GP invest into promoting his fight as heavly if they didn't get a nickle? Doesn't make sense. And it has already come out that Mayweather Promotion isn't a Promotion at all since they don't even have a promoters license.

Floyd better win this one with a KO. If he loses, he will be the biggest laughing stock of the boxing world. I'm afraid he put himslef in this situation by simply opening his blow hole and calling Mosley a "B" class fighter. And if he loses....oh boy...it'll be very hard for him to extricate himself out of this one.
