I just finished watching, I thought he could have continued with it being the end of the round but the ref isn't a time keeper so he made the right call.

        lol.
just like castillo was weathering the storm vs chico in their first fight when it was stopped.

usually, "weathering the storm" in a boxing match would involve survival tactics or defensive maneuvers, not being caught on the ropes unable to even put your hands up, hold or move your head.

Was Meldrick getting hit clean by a JCC flurry when the fight was stopped? No. To answer your dumbass question, no the situation was not the same.

You know what man? I'm glad you brought that up.

That stoppage was **** too. Castillo should've had a chance to go down and get up.

Corrales got 3 chances to go down, spit out his mouthpiece etc.

Castillo gets beat on for a few seconds and the fight is over. Castillo always said that was a bad stoppage and I agree with him.

He was on his way to winning that fight.

Both fights were unfairly stopped with 1 second to go.

Thats how they were the same.

1 second for a lifetime of dedication and hard training?

Go sell your bull**** somewhere else. Boxing is not for you. You obviously can't handle the violence.

              gtfo my thread.

If you are stuck on the ropes you can't go down, but according to you that is fine, allow the other fighter to tee off on an unprotected and uncounscious fighter that is trapped until the bell rings.

Get out of here with that dumb ****. Corralles had Castillo out on his feet and pinned on the ropes the same way Montiel did.

Boxing is not for you either. You don't have the stomach for it.

                      Go watch Rachel Ray.
