Guy should have taken a knee rather then holding onto the ropes for 10seconds and being pummeled. Not sure if it's true but someone said that Refs don't know how much time left in a round if so, he has to stop it

        I agree.

The ref isn't a time keeper, if a fighter is unsafe to continue then it is his job to stop the fight regardless of the time in the round.

Lets say a fighter is getting his ass seriouuuuuuuuuusly beat and there's only 2 seconds left in the round, if the fight should be stopped at that point to avoid more punishment, then it should be stopped.

Of course, this issue is somewhat subjective based on what the ref deems a proper stoppage is, but time should never be a factor in that decision.

Agreed, its just rough when the ref calls the fight with 3 seconds left. - I think however, it should be a thing of, if the guy is out on his feet, or seriously about to get hurt, stop the fight reguardless... but if guy is just eating a bunch of shots and not answering but is otherwise fine, sure stop it early in a round but not with a few seconds left in the fight.

I'm glad we've got some quality posters in NSB now.

This is exactly how I feel

                  Yes it should.

Thats how they robbed Meldrick Taylor.

The ref needs to show some ****ing discretion in situations like that.
