Khan was definitely buzzed/rocked/alarmed by a Prescott jab. I can tell you it's true because 15 seconds later he was Taylor'd on the mat.

I'm a Khan fan but a skeptical one. I see a lot of potential but a lot of question marks so I hope he proves himself. I do think he will take on a tough opponent after Malignaggi.

Depends on how you define getting "buzzed" or "rocked"

Getting rocked is what happened to Diaz in the Malignaggi fight. The jab on Khan wasn't quite the same.

You're still being dumb about this, after a year of posting the same crap? Otherwise you're a fun poster, but this is one subject on which you're always way off. It's delusional.

Also, now you're lumping "buzzed" and "rocked" as if they mean the same thing. Him being buzzed is indeed what happened - it was enough to make him shuffle his feet for a second, but it didn't hurt him. Being rocked is what the left hook did, which did hurt him and resulted in the chicken dance. Hard punch.

Khan has run out of fighters with low KO percentage to fight, he will have to challenge LW or even smaller fighters to impose his size and skills. He won't be as offensive against a more aggressive guy that can take his punches. Khan is not huge puncher and the futher up he goes the less effect it is gonna have

This is still my concern as well Walt. But IMO, this fight with Paulie can be big for him to the point where they will want to throw him in there with the other top guys in the division. Now, there are some heavy hitters at 140, but Khan will compete.

I don't overrate his boxing skills. I think he is a solid, technically sound boxer. Does he need to grow? Of course he does. IMO i just feel this fight may push them to put him in there with the other tops in the division.

The left hook did more than hurt him! I thought I was witnessing a pre planned execution!

And yes, you are right. I will never post reasonably when talking about Khan so it's no good trying to argue with me

i think alot of people here are overlooking the campbell/ortiz fight. imo khan may well take on the winner from that fight if he wins against paulie.

imo khan won't be facing bradley or alexander just yet. bradley would school him and alexander with his speed and power would have him laid out on the canvas. I think khan will only take those fights when he needs to.

he may look to take on the winner of campbell vs ortiz becasue both guys are winnable fights for him. ortiz lost to khan in the am's and this often translates to the pro game as well, as for campbell hes getting old now and with his style and diffculties in making weight khan could well score a late KO.

i acutally think the maidana fight might happen becasue of one reason and one reason only. maidana can be dropped!! maidana is a strong guy with a punch but hes not like urango was, urango had a chin like a cinder block and a massive punch so seeing him on the canvas was like seeing pigs fly. maidana however was dropped several times by ortiz and i think this fight has the best chance of happening.

failing that khan may take on someone like zab judah or some other past it fighter.

Yup. In which case, one could just as well put forth that Maidana's chin is a bit crap too. If Khan were to be able to avoid his punches, there's no reason as to why he couldn't Salita him.

Malignaggi's chin is better than both of theirs combined.

Cambell v Ortiz would be a likely opponent I agree. However, Ortiz was absolutely dominated by Maidana so not suprise Khan ducking him again.

Maidana can be dropped yes. Ortiz is a very good puncher and put Maidana down 3 times... but you know what? The guy just gets up again and he's got this freakish speed and wiry power about him when he swings those shots in.

When one connects on Khan's chin (or even near it) you'll be able to hear it from Mars.
