I can't wait to see read his response either. This should be good. But in the mean time, here is a link where Hatton's trainer, Billy Graham said that they wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr at 147 lbs.

"I've always said Ricky wasn't a welterweight and I wasn't interested in going back up to that division unless it was [against] Floyd because he's not such a big guy," added Graham."

    And

"However, Hatton's trainer Billy Graham says his fighter will have no difficulties in moving up from his natural division, despite struggling to victory in his only fight at that weight of his career against Luis Collazo.

"The fight against Collazo was taken reluctantly and without proper time to prepare," Graham told BBC Sport, "but this time we have plenty of notice."

Thats cowardly, no offense, but whats the point of talking boxing if you cant be honest?

              1) When they BOTH were at 140, Hatton was reportedly, "not ready"

              2) Floyd had just fought Oscar at 154, so he wasn't going to go ALL the way back down to 140 to fight a guy that "wasn't ready for him" at that weight. Like Oscar made Floyd come to 154...like Hatton made Manny come to 140...Floyd made Hatton come to 147..what's the fuss?

              3) Ricky and his trainer, WANTED to fight Mayweather at 147.

You got me all wrong. I responded to a poster stating that Floyd tried to get his opponents out of their respective weight classes to fight him. Hatton did move up to fight him.

Do I think it made a difference whatsoever? No.

Does it diminish the accomplishment in my eyes? Not at all.

Ricky was ready and willing to move up to 147 for any big money fight he was offered.

Marquez I can agree with. But Marco Antonio.....I'm not so sure.

Anyways, even if this is the case, he only fough them once in their primes, agree?
