Actually it can do so. He takes Floyd at strong odds, maybe 2-1 and places $50 on that.

He takes another $100 and places it on SSM by KO, odds maybe 10-1.

If SSM wins, he's plus like 1050 in total.

If Floyd wins, he's still 50 odd to the better. [50*2 + stake back], against a loss of $100.

But I dropped $100 on Mosley with the 5/1 odds locked in.
