I think that morales really wants a fight with corrales and probably will move up to 135, i think corrales is trying to get his promotor to set that up too because he recently appealed the rematch against JL Castillo because he wants an in between match

Morales has been chasing the Corrales fight or the other way around...I keep trying to articulate to people that Morales v. Corrales is a pipe dream...if Bob Arum is ****** then the fight will happen, if Arum has some brains then the fight is never going to happen.

          QUESTION...

If you were Bob Arum and you owned JL Castillo and Morales and you put up the 2 million dollar offer to Corrales for the rematch with JL and he turned you down what would you do?

Im guessing that you would not take it in the ass from Diego and then give him what he wishies which would be a thrashing of his cash cow.

Morales v. Corrales will never ever happen!

fighters who were just in a furious fight tend to take a few more months off than usual fighters. like corrales, morales, and mcbride wont be in the ring for a long time after their fights (tyson vs mcbride wasnt a furious fight. mcbride will just soak up his pathetic glory).

I agree in the idea that Morales/Corrales is not a fight that is going to come into reality. Far more likely is Corrales/Hatton at 140 and then a rematch of Corrales/Castillo afterwards (win or lose probably). For Morales I would except another fight at Jr. Lightweight and then a big fight against either Pacquiao or Barrera. As for who the in between fight would be... well that is a little tougher, perhaps Juan Manuel Marquez moving up in weight or Jesus Chavez in the wake of Hernandez fight.

Morales already beat Chavez convincingly, although Chavez did hurt his arm. I think Morales would beat him soundly againn though in a good action fight.

Do you really think Marquez is going to move up any time soon? I'd think he'd wait for Pacquiao to come down and rematch before he moved up.

Morales fought Pac and Barerra 4 months apart. He's a very active fighter.
But like someone mentioned earlier, he had surgery to remove a cateract from his eye, so he'll be out of action for a while longer.
