When Tarver pulled a one-hitter quitter on RJJ...

    https://<object width="480" height="...mbed></object>

Many boxing fans said that, that devastating KO loss was a sign that RJJ was past his prime.(off one punch, one single punch was due to someone not being in their prime, hmm)

My question is, if the same exact thing happens to Phony Boy on Saturday, does that automatically mean that Phony is done as well ?

Tarver deserves his credit, I hate when people make excuses for a fighter when they lose.

it was pretty obvious he was past his prime, doesn't mean it's not a good win, but jones looked like he could beat tarver everytime he fought, which showed in the first fight, the second and the third, johnson is the real roy jones conquerer

LOL, Tarver KOed him and battered him for 12 rounds; he softened him up mentally and physically for a Glen Johnson who just had to pull the trigger.

because tarver didn't lose the first fight, he wasn't losing the second prior to the ko, he wasn't losing the third whenever jones actually punched and he didn't get chicken legged on two occassions, ok, lets just ignore that

If Shane beats Floyd on Saturday, Shane is greater than Floyd.

RJ looked crap in his fight before that after having came down from HW, and looked crap in all his fights ever since. floyd is younger at 33, hasnt made a drop in weight or shown signs of slowing down. mosley might ruin him with one punch, but floyd is in his prime right now.
