Did Tyson Quit Or Did Fenech Stop The Fight?

I have read since the fight Tyson quit on his stool, but then I have heard that Fenech was the one who stopped the fight. Tyson said at the press conference Jeff Fenech stopped it and I just read a Skip Bayless on ESPN.com that said Fenech stopped it. Did he quit or was it stopped?

Fenech stopped it. People want to believe that Tyson quit because they hate his guts, but that was not the case.

Exactly. Tyson wasn't too upset about Fenech's decision.

Post-fight, Tyson continued to talk like a man who just quit-on-the-stool ...... saying "I don't have the stomach for this anymore". Now that's pretty much the language of a man who doesn't need his trainer to quit for him.

....What the hell does it matter? He mentaly quit in the fight anyway. Whether he or Fenech actually literaly pulled the trigger is of no matter. Tyson quit for sure no matter who made the final call. If it makes you feel better then go ahead and think Fenech made the call.

I mean there is a difference, if Fenech made the call thats the trainer thinking his fighter has had enough. If it was Tyson that was the fighter giving up instead of fighting on. If Fenech made the call then everyone shouldn't be saying Tyson quit they should be saying Fenech through in the towel for Tyson. Tyson is a warrior who goes in to battle to come out or not at all. Don't believe me? Watch the Lewis, Holyfield, Ruddock and Williams fights. The only fight he really quit in was Holyfield II and maybe this depending on what you believe.
