You know, this might be the last time we ever see Floyd Mayweather or Shane Mosley fight in a boxing match. Notwithstanding, the rematch clause and potential Pac fight, but depending on with happens in that ring the end of an era could arrive in just 2 days. It just hit me. What if, after the fight these two embrace, go the mic and announce their retirement to the world. Unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Mayweather v Mosley has always been the fight that was suppose to happen before they both retire and it is now upon us. It's actually a big enough fight that either man can retire off of it when you analyze its magnitude. What if Floyd wins in a dominating fashion, retires Shane and then negotiations with Pac break down again? What if Shane wins, retires Floyd, and Roach continues to avoid the Mosley/Pac fight? Hell, If this were to occur what would be the point of Manny sticking around? Remember, Manny has a political career that he can 'hang his hat on' now. He could fight Margarito but would we really give a ****!?!?! Just a thought.
