Proof Mayweather is packing a glass jaaw..............

People only talk about the part where Corley hurts him and follows the combination up where by Floyd goes to the ropes but i thought this was far more significant as his legs had gone momentarily.

Mayweather doesn't have a glass jaw but he doesn't really tuck it in like the average boxer. He often has his chin up while throwing punches, but he gets away with it.

TS, thats not a glass jaw. Thats just an orthodox fighter getting caught square with a blind punch from a Southpaw. Floyd relaxed because 99% of the time he blocks that punch. You can see that he saw it coming and had his D perfect but the thing is that since Chop was a Southpaw, it landed flush. Thats why Southpaws are so hard to beat and thats why Pac knocks all these guys out. You also see that after this fight and halfway through this fight, Floyd doesnt use the shoulder roll hardly ever against Southpaws anymore.

He uses the high guard against Southpaws now because they can still hit you flush even when your D is perfect. Thats not a weak chin. If Chop was a righty and hit him with that same shot then it wouldnt hurt but its different coming from a Southpaw. Ask RJ, Wlad, MAB, and many more. I think the fact that Floyd didnt go down with this punch or that 1st big one from Chop speaks volumes about his chin. Mostly everyone goes down from shots like that or atleast the 1st one and are seriously buckled on the 2nd one. Mayweather took them well

And what exactly does this video prove? Mayweather has fought much harder and better punchers than that following that fight and wasn't hurt by them. I think it has to do with his level of respect for his opponent. An opponent like Shane will get total respect from Mayweather and he won't allow Shane to get him in that position.

It would be more fitting for the thread if you had posted Floyd going down from Zab's check-hook DK.
