Haha,yeah i saw the hair style too,I'll agree on this with u ,as opposed to the cotto thing,even tho Kid looked really lacking in that he fought mainly with his right,his left was almost totally absent,tho when he did use it he did some damage,and he almost KO'ed casa in the last round,even tho he had hurt him before, in the last round he really ****ed him up,and this was after casa increased his punch output/kid got hurt earlier on/fought a somewhat lacking fight by only using his right,after all that he still won the fight(or should have) and almost Ko'ed casa,that ****s impressive.I wish he had turned pro earlier,but he's probably just as good as any other top fighter right now thats 28-ish.

Casamayor almost knocked him out in the 1st or 2nd RD, the whole fight I was thinking if Casa had fought him on the inside he could of ended it right there. Both Castillo, and Corrales would TKO him. He wont beable to handle a blood, cuts war with either of them.

I gotta disagree with u there,Casa tried fighting him toe to toe and almost got Ko'ed in the last round,the reason casa hurt him early on was because he caught him with a slyck punch,not an inside power shot.

He was tried by than, Casamayor fades, and in that fight Kids power got it, once, with Castillo or Corrales even if he does knock them down, he doesnt have anything really devasting to keep them down. From the first RD, till the fight ends they would pressure him on. Casamayor cut or messed up Kids eye pretty good, inmage a puncher in their, all they would have to do is swarm him until the ref stops the fight, no really good defense. Might even be stoped on cuts.

How would he do against the other fighters at 135 and the big names at 130?

He doesnt suck, he showed hes pretty good against Casamayor. I would pick him against Juan Diaz, and Morales/Barrera(not really sure). Hes a condenter.

The difference is where you guys see problems, I see something else. He definatly didnt look as good as Im saying he did but that was because of his opponent. I have made many threads on here speaking of how southpaws will give guys alot of problems and how if you have the same fighter but you make him a south paw he is automatically much better. I always speak about how a fighter has greater power if he is a southpaw because you either cant see the punch coming or you can see it but you still cant get away from it.

Kid Diamond doesnt have a weak chin but he got hit by a south paw and got hurt because he couldnt see the punch. He could fight Chico or Castillo right now and I bet he doesnt easily get hurt. He also looked one dementional because he obviously hasnt had much experience against south paws and then you put him in with one of the best.

Call me crazy but what I saw from this kid is the next Tszyu and maybe better. Did you see his hair style? I cant believe no one has compared them. He fights almost exactly like him. He stalks you kind of slow but when he punches it shoots out like a rocket and lands very heavy. I guarantee if Morales moved up the next fight Kid Diamond would KO him and hurt him bad. Ill take him right now over anyone and 50/50 against the other 2. The guy is maybe the most explosive puncher out there right now.

PS- I know that some of you will be like the HBO guys and say his power isnt all that it was hyped up to be but I disagree. I still think it came down to facing a southpaw and Joel running the whole fight so he really couldnt catch him flush until he ran out of steam. Also Tszyu didnt KO everyone. This kid is for real. I would love to see him fight Juan or Julio Diaz and also Lazcano. I pick him in all 3 by KO

his stance is somewhat like tszyu and hair and style..but i think hes more of a combo between mayorga and tsyzu then anything. he jus comes forward swinging..He should be a pretty good fighter..its hard to loo k good vs casa does that not remind you of mayorga?

I think hes gonna be really good..i mean he got a draw with Casamayor..Chico split with him in two fights..Freites and Castillo edged out decisions over him..so he has a great future

i saw that, too. that was the reason why he's been boxing the whole night, he won't withstand kd's power. i think diamond has a one-punch ko same as kosta's! and this casamayor, although i thought he won that fight, was using his head intentionally a couple of times and didn't even deducted a point by the good ref. casa was very smart but lacks the aggressiveness of castillo or say, corrales. i wouldn't be surprised had he chosen mixing it up with diamond, he would have been ko'd by kid diamond.
