Mosley is actually pretty good at cutting off the ring against runners.

When Collazo and Cotto started to retreat, he was able to track them down and dish out punishment. The part of the fight that Cotto won against Mosley were not the late rounds and I don't know why people say the contrary. When Collazo went into survival mode and started running Mosley tracked his ass down. I'm hoping that we see the same thing against Floyd Saturday night. Forrest and Winky took the fight to Shane. If Mayweather beats Mosley backing up, he'll become the first one to do it. But since that has never happened, I'm going with Mosley pulling out the win.

Cotto cant be effective fighting while going backwards, Collazo is a good fighter but not really comparable to Floyd in any department.

collazo is comparable to floyd. they are both excellent infighters that use the shoulder roll (obviously floyd is better). they can both stand in front of you and make you miss. (ie slick). actually collazo is one of the slickest fighters around in those respects

that's the only ways they are really comparable

There´s a myth that Mosley struggled with Collazo, probably by people who haven´t actually seen that fight.

Problem is that Floyd is also hard to hit after you cut off the ring. He'll get hit but not very often, and he'll hit mosley 10 times as many as he takes and win a boring UD.

that myth got busted in 07. Everybody was like how will shane deal with a yound slick southpaw? I think collazo won 2-3 tops. & oh yeah shane boxed, cut off the ring, & showed defense. Plus floyd isn't free with his hands like collazo (which is why he gets hit a lil more). To beat shane you have to bring the fight to him.

Yeah, he will. I don't even see how you can imagine he won't.

You're basically saying Mosley's going to win, and that simply won't happen.
