donaire has nothing to prove against vic,he beat him already,it wasn't controversial,it wasnt a lucky punch,he simply beat him good, after all vic is the one who keeps mentioning donaire, not donaire,if this fight doesn't happen, donaire will not look bad,he already beat him,i think him fighting the winner of hasegawa/montiel is much better for his career, beating someone up again who he already ko'd is ok,but beating either of these two i mentioned is better

Even if he clearly beat him, It only makes sense to fight him again and take his titles.

Dude whatever. At a certain point some of you Top Rank fans need to realize that Top Rank isn't delivering its fighters. How many big fights is Top Rank actually making right now? How often are Top Rank fighters not able to agree to terms for big fights? I mean it's getting beyond ridiculous how often Top Rank fighters get small fight after small fight and then turn around and blame EVERYONE BUT THEMSELVES and THE COMPANY.

Dude at a certain point; when a trend starts to emerge you kind of have to start looking in the mirror. Maybe this is Arum/Donaire/Dunkin's fault. Just like Pavlik not getting any big fights for the last two years might have been Arum/Pavlik/Dunkin's fault.

Donaire needs to fight somebody we've heard of before though. I think the point is that Donaire wants a big fight. He signed with Top Rank because they were supposed to keep him active and get him big fights. Neither has happened. The Darchinyan rematch is on the table. It's as big a fight as is out there for Donaire and Nonito can win. Why not figure out a way to make the damn fight?

Man, why is Darchinyan wasting his time with this clown.
Move up and fight some other dudes, let Pinoy #2 fight his bums down there

Donaire should not be stucked up from Darch! Afterall, he beat him already for all rounds before knocking him out for good! He needs to go up now and this is now your time to shine in Bantamweight!

he tried that and got his ass beat so he's staying at 115.
its donaire who needs to move up. this rematch isnt even necessary. what does donaire need vic's belts for? outside of vic, there is nothing at 115 which is one of the reasons why donaire has fought bums. 115 is a terrible division.

i personally think its shaw thats fckin sht up becuz he doesnt want vic back in the ring with donaire. both becuz he doesnt want to contribute to nonito getting paid AND becuz vic is still the same fighter that got his sht pushed in.

why the hell should the filipino TV money even be negotiated?? its Top Rank that has the contract with them, not shaw. shaw should take whatever cut is offered.

Curious how Donaire somehow cast a shadow over the next 3 years of his career in outboxing Darchinyan and knocking him smooth out.
It should've been the springboard, yet his win over Vic has become kind of an albatross for Nonito (see the two mens' divergent fortunes in the couple years that followed, amid constant speculation of, and clamor for, a rematch).

It would appear this fight needs to happen before everyone involved can move on.

Donaire-Darchinyan II will set everybody free.
Vic will have no excuses for the first bout (not that he has any now, but, y'know). Nonito will be able to press on to bigger, better things, we assume.
