Lot of people say Ali was overrated, but I think he was one of the most talented fighters I've ever seen...

I love how Muhammad Ali cursed America and refused to fight for AMerica.. Yet it's funny because he had no problem profiting off of Americas capitalistic system!!

i don't think ali was overrated but i got to tell you's. i was in 5th grade and was spending a weekend with my grandfather in los angeles. we watched the clay/liston fight with my grandpas friend( a decade later i read this guy was connected). when liston got knocked down by clay my granpas' friend said in siciliano "its true they got to him". i must say me being a kid and how difficult it can be with interpeting sicilian slang dialect, i could be wrong in interpeting, but i'm pretty sure. but years later in the '70s i seen that fight again(remember there was no vcr or dvd recordings)...on tv and my second look at ali's punch appeared as a phantom punch.i could be wrong.

but when ali out pyched the monster foreman i had to hand it to him. and ali was great enough to survive the long layoff that was imposed on him by the fckng government over the vietnam era draft. he would have been greater if his boxing carreer wasn't interupted.
