    Andre Dirrell UD Andre Ward

    My very early prediction.

Both are Amateur style fighters, and this will be a very amateur style fight.

And i don't mean these guys aren't talented obviously, i just mean they fight like they are still fighting in the amateur system.

And even tho Ward proved he is better in that system by winning GOLD, i think that Dirrell is gonna be to fast and is too elusive for Ward.

Ward is gonna have to come forward and chase.

This is a very early prediction, I may change my mind, but love Dirrells chances in the fight.

What will be very interesting is the strategies of both sides. Both guys are gonna implement some very unique game plans and I think this will be an extremely tactical fight.

Maybe a bit boring, but since it will be very competitive i think we will all enjoy it

I'll save how I see the fight, but I disagree with your initial views. Switch the last names around and that is how I see the fight. But as it nears, I will break it down then.

I agree, I have dirrell beating ward. Dirrell showed in his last fight he has power and speed/movement to be a threat at 168lbs.

Dirrell is the only person capable of beating Ward in this tournament. However I question if Dirrell is mentally tough enough to beat him, as Ward will try to rough Dirrell up.

Also, I don't see how Ward still has an amateur style. Maybe dirrell, but not Ward.

Dirrell might be more talented. I think Ward has more dog in him. I see him taking over the later rounds and edging out an ugly decision.

This could be a great technical and speedy fight. The venue might be the deciding factor.

This..I agree with you NATAS, but as I said, I'm going to hold off on how I see this fight going.

This'll be the most interesting fight of the tournament to me. Dirrell has the physical advantages to take this, but I think Ward's edge in ring smarts and doggedness may be the deciding factor. I see him quickly getting inside Dirrell's reach and working and probably winning a close decision in the end based on aggression and making Dirrell look and feel uncomfortable in there.

where's the fight gonna be at?

                    if detroit then Dirrel

                    if oakland then ward

                    if neutral location then ward
