I think Calzaghe looked hurt against Mitchell, but i consider Mitchell a better boxer and puncher than Lacy, the only thing Lacy has which is better than Mitchell is his aggression. Maybe his chin is better but i havent seen him take a shot from a puncher yet.

Calzaghe did look hurt against Mitchell but he did what any boxer would do. Switch on the natural instinct and KO the man. If Lacy does put Calzaghe down he has to make sure its a very very good shot or he will go down himself within minutes.

Lacy probably paid you to say that when you met him!!

Seriously, thats one thing i like Lacy, he's the only man with the balls to face Calzaghe. I have to respect him for that alone.

                hmm

I wouldn't be shocked to see Joe C. pull out of the Lacy fight. They're supposed to fight when Lacy beats Reid (when, not if) but Joe C. pulls out of fights more often than God's name is invoked.

Lacy is too young, fresh, and determined for a guy like Reid at this point. Lacy is looking at what beating Reid will get him, as Reid is widely considered top 2-3 at 168. Beating Reid opens up the flood gates for Lacy, and Lacy will not be denied.

I do hope they can get the Lacey fight at the Millenium stadium, that will top anywhere as the best fight venue full stop

top 2-3 what planet you been living on for the past 3 years The Reaper isnt in the top ten in my books. Still look for Lacey to struggle and old granite chin.

Uhh, Ring Magazine (ever heard of that one?). Stop trying to discredit Lacy's win over Reid before it even happens.

Reid almost beat your boy Joe, and if you name 5 fighters at 168 more established or better than Reid (much less 9) than you really don't know jack about 168.
