Paul williams is one of my favorite boxers and should move up to number 3 in two weeks. He will beat cintron, mosley will lose to mayweather and hopkins should just retire. The problem is he is not a mainstream guy the casual fan does not know home and he can't sell out a place better yet land a big name fight. What is it that he can do to get highly recognized besides beg for a pacquio or mayweather fight.

Paul Williams is absolutely nowhere near being the third best boxer in the world.

I'd say that Marquez, Ward, Donaire are all better fighters than Williams

You could make a case for Mosley or Mayewather even after one of them loses, also Dawson, Vitali, Martinez or Wlad.

The Kermit Cintrons of the boxing world aren't gonna help Paul in the P4P boxer race...

I don't like Kermit, he's a whiny *****, but something is wrong in this fight. I'm getting that feeling that if Paul overlooks Cintron he's going to get into another war a la Sergio, or even get another L. I can't justify it, I'm just getting that feeling...

This. And Cintron has been beaten every time he's stepped up to elite, so that fight isn't going to help his cause much.

I hope he wins his next fight so we can see a Sergio rematch. That is the FOTY as of right now and I'm not a big fan of neither one of those guys.

You can make a case for him already being in the top 6 considering Martinez's recent win.

Williams hasn't done enough to be seen as the world's 3rd best. People rate him due to potential more than accomplishment. Screw p4p anyway. It's imaginary.
