If Fernando Vargas was more "humble" would you like him more?

You guys view him as the bad guy and maybe he earned that reputation, but boxing needs more guys like him. Alot of ppl hate on Mayorga, but he makes fights entertaining. vargas was a warrior that gave everything in the ring, I just dont get why people bash him so much. I am proud to say that I am a big fan of his, as he always gave great fights.

Vargas is actually a pretty humble guy. His bad guy image only showed up for the Oscar fight. I met him 10 years ago when I was 17 and he's really laid back. He was only 21 or 22 at the time, but already a world champ.

I was a big fan of his and the only time I rooted against him was against Mosley. I really thought he's was going take Tito out, but those ****in cheap low blows! That was the day I quit being a Trinidad fan because I was heavily behind Vargas. I was glad when Hopkins destroyed him.

Anyways, humble or not I was always a fan of the Aztec Warrior. I actually enjoyed watching Vargas insult Oscar.

I met Vargas 3x already at smaller cards in Vegas. He is probably the coolest boxer outside of Floyd and Viv Harris that I met before.

I like vargas for what he is. We need more aholes like him... it's good for boxing imo. It's entertaining to watch them talk trash & backing them up. Also fun to watch guys like him get there a$$es kicked.

Vargas was great for boxing. he may have went down in flames during the bouts against the elites, but he always went out like a warrior on his shield. i tip my hat off to him

He was ****y arrogant and loud duringn his fighting day, but thats pure entertainment. It makes the fight. I dont like Mayweather at all, mainly because he's fights are boring, but i dont hate him cause of his mouth. He builds the fights with his bad boy persona. And yes I KNOW Vargas is a humble guy when it comes to his fans.....he always says that he would never deny a fan a handshake or an autograph. "I think the lord everyday for the fans he has given me" was what he wrote on FB a while back. I just dont see how ppl have no respect for a guy who gave GREAT fight and never had a dull moment for us fans of boxing. I use to hate Miguel Cotto, but his heart in the ring has made me somewhat of a fan.......I CANT HATE ON A GUY THAT TRYS AND GIVE FANS ALL THEY GOT IN THE RING!
