How would Movie Theaters Playing Mayweather/Mosley effect the ppv sales?

Just curious as GBP plans to hit 4 million(not likely), how does theater sales add into it?

They don't add the sales to PPV sales.

They go in a different money pot.

That's the ****ty thing. This will drive down PPV numbers, since theater tickets don't count towards PPV. So even though many more people might actually be watchig the fight with 400+ theaters showing it, people will consider it a failure if it only does 1.4 million buys or something.

Good to know, and do the fighter see any of this pot?

Anything that does a million or over is no failure.

              400 theaters showing it?

So that's a max of like 40,000 if each one of those is sold out which it won't be.

But that's if they have all screens showing them, which is highly unlikely. Either way if you figure in the money from the tickets, you can make a good estimation.
