without Nazeem, the plaster doesn't get found

without Nazeem, Shane's bravado might have gotten the best of him and forces him to make the mistake of standing in front of a plaster-wrapped Margarito

in between rounds, Nazeem reiterated the need to stick and move and to use his footwork to get the better of exchanges

Shane's natural abilities might have gotten him a win but he would have been heavily damaged during the process IMO

No I voted the third option. I bet I'm going to get asked these "tactical improvements" and to me it's really quite obvious. Shane fought a much more controlled fight and he wasn't as jumpy. Maybe it was him getting used to fight at an older fighter's pace, but in the Collazo and Cotto fight he was really jumpy on his toes. He'd always have a tendency of bouncing. While he did it ocassionaly, Mosley was a lot more calculated with what he threw and his combinations were still put together perfectly.

In the past I feel like Shane was getting into a habbit of throwing ****ty uncessary shots (See: Vargas 1 for an example), but with Marg his combinations were solid and well timed. Also, his jab seemed to actually be put out there better.

A bit of option 1 & 2. Margarito does come forward and Shane has the speed and power to challenge him gravely. However, ****m also did get Shane to move more and clinch when he needed to. Shane's jab was also pretty effective, he was able to set up some wicked right hands after it.

Margarito lost that fight even before he stepped into the ring. Any version of Mosley would have beaten Margarito that night.
