What makes the heavyweight Divison bad (not the klitschkos)

What makes it really suck as, is that prospects and contenders rearely fight each other.

Now, if there was a UNIFIED champ, then they would have no choice but to duke it out in eliminators, but instead, it's simply a case of pick the path of least resistance, and you'll get a title shot.

Areolla vs Adamek was a good fight, one of the first good high profile non-title fights in the h/w division in the last few years.

The thing is every time the Klitschkos fight they dominate, and that makes things less interesting, but the opponents they fight haven't been forged in battle, they are not used to adversity, because they are babied into a title shot.

If there were more fights between top 10 fighters, then they would gain experiance, toughen up and make the title fights more interesting

Good points, no way should Kevin Johnson been given a shot at VK or Areolla getting a shot at him either without them fighting guys better than Vargas or an old over weight McCline.

yeah, Areolla and Johnson were prospects, not contenders when they fought the Klitshkos, not that you can blame Vitali and Wlad, there isn't much out there, but still you have to think that if Johnson and Areolla fought, the winner of that would be better prepared to fight a bro.

I would think so because those two are perfect cases of guys who had it easy on their route to a title shot, they almost got it by default and because there was just nobody better.

Chambers wasn't "babied". He EARNED a world title shot by completely dominating undefeated 6'7 250 lbs Alexander Dimitrenko and outboxing former WBC HW Champ Samuel Peter.

The Klitschkos operate like vultures, and vultures prey on the dying and the inexpeirienced.

Thats why they are trying to fight Haye NOW, before he gets too good, too experienced.

If Haye went with Adamaek instead, that would be the klits worst nightmare.

Haye is getting better at 29, and the Klits arent getting any younger..
