This fight is NOT EVEN SOLD OUT!!!! So Schaefer is FULL OF CRAP!!! He is a clever marketer though!! By publicly saying it could break records, he is trying to make the general public believe that they SHOULD be buying the ppv because supposedly everyone else will.

But the FACT that this event has NOT SOLD OUT in Las Vegas says a lot!!!

Schaefer said Mayweather-Mosley is the most heavily promoted fight in history. Because of all the different media and retail outlets who are involved in the event's promotion, and the fight's presence in movie theatres

So I guess they count the movie tickets as ppv.

is this a guess for the HBO buys in the USA or just pay per view buys world wide, because i think its an acheivable feat if it includes world wide buys, but in Australia we usually get the sky sports version of the PPV, not the HBO one which i dont complain about because the commentators dont have egos like the HBO team of Lampley, Merchant, Kellerman etc
