2 possible options: Either a smear campaign or a legit assassination attempt.

1- The car could have been stolen and used in a fake setup to smear Manny's name. From what I've heard, Filipino kidnappers don't play, they probably would've shot everything up if they didn't accomplish the kidnapping.

2- Pacquiao really tried to murder duke and was so dumb that he used his own whip and ****** kidnappers.

This sure is a scumbag move if it's #2, *******s would still support Pacquiao, but they could never mention Mayweather's incidents with the law or Valero.
