Good lord. An ALT account after all. After doing an IP check, you have had at least a dozen accounts banned for a mountain of violations and numerous violation notes for nearly every possible offense possible on these forums. And looking at the post history of these banned accounts, it's obvious you have been anti-filipino and anti-pacquiao for quite some time. :gay:Comment

And besides there is millions of people who do not cheat on their wives (such as the average joe, you and me) let alone have the power and celebrity status of Pac.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 04-28-2010, 11:26 PM.Comment

I have a first world education, and I'm MORE THAN HAPPY to discuss the relative economics and price indices of the two countries.
I realize that telling the truth will result in a ban, so I will leave it at this:
Anyone who actually believes that the relative purchasing power between the two countries is three orders of magnitude i.e 10^6 to 10^9, is the product of an inferior education sytem.
If you care to discuss this further, I will gladly invite you to my financial blog.
no one ever said pacquiao is a billionaire in american dollars.
the american dollar has been worth anywhere from P40 to P50 philippine pesos through the years.
if pacquiao has $20-$25 million u.s. dollars that's the equivalent of $1 billion pesos.
he's a filipino billionaire. does a filipino billionaire have as much money as an american billionaire? no but no one said he does.
let me put it to you this way , if you have $1 billion u.s. dollars does that make you a billionaire? in europe that's only E750 million euros.......Comment

No. But it teaches me that you don't just index currency conversions directly. That is so simplistic as to be laughable.
When you talk about money, you talk about a consistent currency. Otherwise, the Forbes list of the world's wealthiest individuals would be ALL Indians.
But in your mind, any six-figure US middle-manager is an Indian millionaire. Right?
that's 4.5 million rupees a year.
millionaire doesn't mean having a million u.s. dollars. it means having a million of a currency.
does an indian millionaire have the same value of wealth as say an american or european millionaire? no. that doesn't mean he's not a millionaire in his country with his currency though.Comment
