The fight was dead even on my card coming into the 11th round. It could have been a draw if I scored the ninth or the tenth in Froch's favor, or any other close round. And there were many close rounds, around 4 or 5.
I have always disliked Froch for all his trash talk about JC, but to be honest, he kind of impressed me in this fight. He showed some things I liked : his jab was more effective for most of the fight than the one of Kessler, he was ducking some flurries pretty well, he was not as wild and easy to counter as he was in the Dirrell and Taylor fights, he hit Kessler with some tremendous shots. He just couldn't miss when he followed up his left hook with a right hook. Of course, he was fighting an opponent that made him look good, and I don't think he can beat Ward nor Dirrell in a rematch.
I don't know if Froch should complain, because I believe he should have fought harder in the last rounds than he did. I will be rooting for him to beat AA when they clash. I want to see him in the semi finals after this performance that really suprised me.
