Floyd is a relatively light punching WW and I am curious as to whether he can hit hard enough to make Shane cautious enough not to just come in on him whenever.
You acted like he showed no power at all vs. JMM so I had to correct you.

Floyd is not light punching at WW thats the biggest myth going. He even buckled Oscars legs at JMW.

Oh, I thought you Floyd fans say the size and strength advantage had nothing to do with him winning so its a great win for that reason because he did it with skill.

He did not buckle Oscar and couldn't deter him in the least from coming in, a great win yes, he was robbed of a UD victory too but power was not something evident on Floyd's part in that and just about all of his fights of recent memory.

Real quick : Size and strength doesnt equal power. i.e. Carlos Baldomir.

                    Anyway,

This is from a thread I made on this topic.

I see alot of the feather fist stuff. But when I watch his fights I dont see that at all.

Floyds shots are so fast and accurate that most of the time they dont see them then he puts a little something behind them as well.

At 147 against Judah he landed some of the nastiest and hardest body shots I ever seen him throw.

At 147 vs. Hatton. I think it was the 8th round (correct me if Im wrong). But He threw a shot to Hattons stomach made Hatton crouch down then blasted him in the forhead and Hatton was hurt.

He also hurt him to the body once then ofcourse the shots that ended the fight.

Against Oscar he was nailing him with hard power shots and even buckled his legs. Mind you Oscar was 160 Pounds or more.

After the fight Oscar said he had no idea how strong Floyd was and that he has deceptive power.

Now with Shane. A guy who Floyd will catch whenever he feels like it. And he punches with his eyes closed on top of that. I see Floyd dropping him a few times.

i don't think people know the difference between a clean punch and a hurtful punch. yea he hit oscar was a couple clean shots but they had no effect. pac hit oscar with a bunch of hurtful punches which is why oscar was basically laying on the ropes cause he had no legs left.
