Look, if Khan beats Paulie in impressive fashion, i'll give him credit where it's due, but I won't be going overboard or anything like that.

if he fights another guy with ko% in the single digits next, i won't be happy

I hate the way people downgrade Paulie because of his lack of punching power because for what he doesn't have in KO ability he more than makes up for with his ability as a pure boxer who uses his feet, jab and movement effectively and i wouldnt be suprised at all if Paulie eecked out a close competitive decision as experience could play a key role. Saying that however ii guess i and fellow other boxing fans must realise that whoever Khan does fight in the future, he will only get credit if they have a high KO ratio

The Khan-Malignaggi is the more classy fight as opposed to Mitchell-Katsidis which will just be a case of another British boxer getting a hometown decision and Katsidis getting robbed.

Khan-Malignaggi will be much more exciting.

Both are very good fights. I think Katsidis-Mitchell will be more competitive than Khan-Malignaggi. But Khan-Malignaggi is a higher level fight because they both have superior skills compared to Katsidis and Mitchell. Thats why I prefer Khan-Malignaggi.

But we can watch them both because they're not on at the same time. So I don't see the problem.

I'm usually cautious but I think Kevin Mitchell is too good for Katsidis. I always thought Khan should have faced Katsidis at lightweight before he got wrecked by Prescott and even after.

Katsidis is game and tough and powerful, but you could come into the ring with a television and throw that television from halfway across the ring at Katsidis and it would hit Katsidis square on the chin. Mitchell is going to stop him if he boxes intelligently off the backfoot like he has been doing.

i've never seen a pure boxer get hit so much though. hatton and cotto both beat the tan off of him. even ngoudjo rocked him and beat him in a close fight imo. and khan has the type of speed/power paulie has never seen before. he looked impressive against the much smaller juan diaz who isn't in his division but thats it. only reason he got this fight is cause of his big mouth. i'm glad the build up to the fight will be exciting cause the actual fight will be a mismatch but oh well that's how boxing works.

i have a feeling we could see a khan-barrera type farce happen. if katsidis gets cut in someway they will probably stop the fight especially if katsidis is coming on and giving mitchell trouble.

this is the thing with Malignaggi, leave out the elites he has faced, we'll throw Hatton in there because he was at least a good world champ. But Ngoudjo hit Malignaggi with his absolute bingo punch and so did Ndou in the rematch. They landed their best shots on Paulie.

So will Khan, and Khan is a combination puncher. So most likely he rattles of a four punch combination puts Paulie on his arse and looks like a million dollars. This is a perfect fight for Khan. Most of us definetely want to see him face a guy who can knock him the f.uck out from the last minute to the last just to see how he would fight.

I like Khan but he's almost certainly going to get knocked out again in the next few years.
