For anyone who think PBF will Gatti (R.I.P) Mosley is wrong.

Are some Mayweather fans delusional or they just got a big mouth? Gatti was a great warrior but Mosley is a different fighter. He is a much smarter fighter who has a BIG difference of speed from Gatti, and of course more power. I can't believe some people in this forum.

May is bigger than in the Gatti days though.

Faster than shane too. Shane keepin his punches short for the camera for that illusion of greater speed doesn't fool me. And if u watch May on the heavy bag he training to really stick those punches, not get points.

Add to that his impeccable defense allowing him to hover outside the damage, and pick his spots... and you have what will happen. Shane doesn't move his head. That's a giant flaw to have against a technician like Mayweather. This is a mismatch

You can't totally rely on what you see on 24/7 because they're not even showing you 30% of what both guys are working on. We know Mayweather is fast, we know Mosley is strong, but there's other intangibles in this fight that I think will surface midway through the fight. I think it's gonna come down to will. Floyd hasn't had to work at a high pace in quite a long time and dig deep and I think with a guy like Mosley who he'll have to be careful with, yet still land flush shots on, the risk factor is gonna raise for Mayweather. People have become so used to seeing Floyd perform the way he does against the competition he's faced for the last few years. But to me, this is without question the most important fight in his career as he's finally in a position to say, "Yea, I'm THAT good" against one of the best fighters in the world.

If this was a mismatch, Floyd would've fought him instead of Marquez in Sept.

Floyd don't have it in him to dish out brutal beatings like that at WW. If he tries against Shane he'll get KO'd. He knows his advantage is footwork and defense. No need for him to get greedy and try to get rid of Shane. No way he puts a one sided beatdown on Shane.

Shane is a great fighter.. I'm just saying Floyd is an ATG and is looking very focused for this fight. Look what happened to Corrales.. Gatti.. History repeats itself. Gatti was vaunted as being tough, blood and guts. Corrales was supposed to be this powerful rangy knockout artist. That didn't stop him. And Floyd has only gotten better. If Floyd doesn't defeat himself, any fight he takes at this stage of his career will be a mismatch (with the possible exception of Pac), so I wasn't denigrating Shane at all.

Floyd is like the idiot savant of the class that could ace every test, and get an A+, but is bored cuz the coursework is below his level, so only puts in C work. Mosley will bring out the A in him, and it will be dramatic
