Nordic (blond hair, blue eyes, taller, broad shoulders, etc.) and alpine (dark hair and eyes, shorter with narrower frames). It's all quite confusing and hard to categorise, as the climate doesn't just change as you cross borders - it's all more gradual than that, and that's not even taking into account the mass immigrations that have occurred over time or race mixing.

I think, scientifically, Spain's population would fall somewhere inbetween alpine and mediterranean while the Arab nations would be primarily mediterranean with little to no dilution.

What are you talking about? Most typically looking Spanish people are pretty much universally considered white. Plenty of South Americans, especially Argentines are considered white because they have a lot of European ancestry there from countries like Italy and Spain. My girlfriend is from Buenos Aires and is whiter skin colour wise than me (I'm Irish descent). In fact a lot of people in northern Spain are from a Celtic background ie similar descent to Irish people so to say they are not considered white (by society's understanding of race) is just ignorant.

But race is a complicated issue, I guess people in Southern Spain are darker skinned in general because of the Moor/Arab influence in the past.

I'm not sure why I'm even arguing this because I couldn't care less if a fighter is black white puerto rican whatever but to dismiss Martinez as not being white when he is from Spanish descent is just ignorance

I guess you guys should learn a little more about your history! Im pretty sure in Argentina the population is majority white and is made of immigrants that came from Europe? Martinez looks white anyway lol let's not get silly about this.
