Fighters who LOST but didn't use the REMATCH CLAUSE...

Can someone please name some fighters who had lost their fight (with a rematch clause) but opted not use the it? And for what reason? Thanks.

No. A rematch was possible, but King opted to protest instead and lost.

And Tyson, despite being the challenger, did have a return clause vs Lennox but didn't use it.

I'm not exactly sure if this is right, but, it looks like Nicolay Valuev will not exercise his rematch clause with David Haye. He'll instead, fight in a WBC title eliminator, against Odlanier Solis. As for the reason, I'd say he probably sees the Solis fight as the easier fight...

.. and he's probably right, Odlanier Solis became a real 21st century HW; that means an unmotivated fat ass. He was talented but he rather chose to be a "real" HW.
