Rematch Clause: A Very Smart Thing To Do

Some of you Tards and Haters are yacking about why Floyd has a rematch clause in the contract. This in case you didn't know....idiots, is one of the smartest things he could do. There are 3 very good reasons to have a rematch clause. #1, Floyd has way more to lose than Mosley a rematch allows for some get back #2, if the fight is close fans will want a rematch regardless of who wins #3 (The Unexpected) cuts, disqualifications, or even "Fan Man" can upset the fight.

Anytime there is a megafight, fight of the year type event, a rematch clause should absolutely be part of the deal. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that one of the first thing a fighter is going to say at the end of the fight is lets do it again. Or I hope we can have a rematch down the road. Floyd is removing all doubt about it, he has guaranteed a rematch, even if he wins in convincing fashion, I believe if the fans want to see it again and make him another 40 million, he will enforce the clause.

Having this clause enables Floyd to legally get Shanes azz back in the ring.

well i dont think there will be a fan man in this match lol i would love to see a very competitive fight between shane and floyd but that all depends on what happens on saturday night and if its a good fight and maybe its close or if mosley pulls off the upset then i could see the fight or rematch happening

I thought Floyd denied the rematch clause.

This interview is from early Feb.

Floyd wants to keep Shane from stealing the Pac fight from him if he loses. That's why he has the clause. Nothing wrong with that.
