2) Unfortunately money talks and Paulie Trash Mouth sells a lot more than Maidana. That been said Khan should face Maidana by the end of the year or get stripped only fair, we only have to look to idiots like Floyd to realise money spoilt boxing

5) Sergio Vs PWill was last year but never mind it was a great match, Sergio is one of my favourites now hes like a even better joe calzaghe, he could try to fight Bute and get three titles in three different divisions

agreed pretty much on all points but I think Sergio should stay away from Bute. Bute's left hand is no joke, he's too big for Sergio IMO.

Shane has a decent chance sure he has been fairly inactive for a while he has however been in competitive fights over the last few years and been forced to dig deep.

Floyd has been inactive for more then 2 years **** that sparring session with a LW, Floyd has also not been challenged and forced to dig deep in god knows how many years. Just going back in his last few fights Marquez (joke fight). Hatton was totally outmatched and also gave up his best strengths i.e his strength/bullying style cause Mayweather was bigger/stronger. Oscar was not a hard fight either don't let the BS SD fool anyone Oscar won 4 rounds and best Hbo scorecard was probably the best one.

It's probably been about 4-5 years since he fought Oscar, and you could go back further and he probably hasn't had a real hard competitive fight since he was forced to dig deep since Castillo.

Lets look at the facts :

1. Shane has more Power then anyone Floyd ever faced
2. Best chin basically meaning he can walk through what Floyd is throwing and wont be intimidated like 126 lb Marquez
3. Shane has size/strength advantage
4. Shane has good hand speed still meaning he could maybe once or twice in the fight catch Floyd with a punch he wont see.
5. Floyd like Roy Jones has not been forced to dig deep much at all in his career, he is also getting older (33), if he gets knocked down and hurt in this fight will he be able to fight on and win?

This fight is very interesting *** anyone who says otherwise, i think Floyd wins a UD but no one can tell me that Shane ain't good a decent chance here..

My topic for today is if Floyd can take the heat....

I don't think he can, the last time he took heat was against JLC and to a lesser extent with Hatton and I would venture that Shane is quicker afoot and has better handspeed than JLC had. Shane definitely has better D than JLC as well and more power. Back when this fight happened, Floyd was in tough a lot more, Gennero, Hernandez etc. floyd was used to guys trying to get to his body and roughing him up.

Since JLC-FLoyd 1, no one has really put forth a sustained attack trying to rough Floyd up except Ricky, who is like a baby Shane as far as chin and intelligent pressure goes with much shorter arms, waaaaaay less boxing ability, worse defense and weaker than Floyd. I think Floyd has become a little soft.

I also think that Floyd's output and speed have dropped over the last couple of years. This is gonna hurt him when Shane gets inside or gets him against the ropes, OR if he has to go on the offensive. Floyd's accuracy is incredible, but most of it comes from these guys who have let him dictate the pace of the fight over the last 7 years (corley, sosa, bruseles, gatti, mitchell, baldo, oscar, and jmm). Shane and Naz have a wealth of information at their disposal as to how NOT to fight Floyd because of this.

Yes I know I could be piling on the crow that I will have to eat if Floyd wins or especially if he were to blow out Shane (which is highly, highly unlikely).

Thing is Floyd has fought fighters who seemed to have the ability to put pressure on him but his skill has stopped that, he should get credit for his skill set and how he makes apparent good fighters look average. Im not sayin Mosley will be a cake walk but it doesnt mean Mosley will just have his own way with Floyd either.

you make good points, most of those pressure guys were earlier in his career, but many of the fighters he fought recently are not pressure fighters. Ricky was, oscar definintely wasn't, baldo may apply some pressure but he has absolutely no power, zab, sharmba, and corley are boxers, gatti is a pressure guy but he never had a chance just like bruseles and ndou.

No way shane is going to do everything what he wants, floyd is the master boxer, but I think any success by shane is going to be a bigger problem for floyd that some success from floyd is going to be for shane.

Np im trying to call it how i see it with less bias these days but this fight is going to be very interesting. Shane is the hardest test to date probably and due to natural ability and some careful matchmaking Mayweather has not really had this kind of huge test which i think Mosley can give him.

But maybe we will see Floyd coming back and throwing fireballs like ****m said I would prefer it to the one carrying a LW over 12 rounds.. instead of getting him out of there around the 9th or 10th just cause he got hit by a decent right hand

its ok, don't get sold by the advertising all over boxing, try one can at a mexican bar/restaurant or store before you buy a crate. Ppl tend to squueze lime and salt in this beer. Mexico do have nice summery beers but not to everyones taste.

Id go for red stripe or budweiser if buying cans.
if im going for bottles id go for sol, bud, corona or brahma which ever has the best deal in the shop.
