I haven't seen that fight, but it was 'just' a normal 10 rounder. I'm sure you can find lots of better yet obscure undercardfights then. Saying that Kessler-Froch was not a great fight is ridiculous by any standard. People thinking that it's not worthy of FOTY-honours I can live with, but surely it was a great fight.

Still as a fan I take it that it's worth downloading the Escalante fight.

But Dirrell made it entertaining because AA became a human punching bag. And AA can change a fight with one punch.

yeah the one punch knockout power is always there with an abraham fight.

it wasn't FOTY, it was just close. it is the best fight of the tourney so far, though, i'll give it that.

His knockout power comes late into fights most of the time when its against a good/decent fighter. It's like he waits until an opponent wears themselves out a bit then he goes in for the kill. I think Bute has more one-punch knockout power in my opinion.

Escalante is a top ranked contender in the world at 122, hardly obscure.

It was not a great fight imo, it was a good fight when you factor in the last round or two, whats ridiculous is calling it GREAT! based on 1-2 rounds, most of the fight was cautious and tentative, thats a fact.

AA is the only one in the tourney that will keep you guessing. even when he's way down on the cards, in the back of my mind i say "here it comes....it's coming...this is gonna be brutal...i hope his opponent can get up after this..."

his KO power is there all night he just isnt able to use it until late in the fight. arthur is slow so he cant really get to his oponents early, he does let them wear themselfs out early but more than anything hes studying them. watching their movement patter and looking for defensive flaws, then when hes got his timing down he sets them up for a KO punch.

abraham has more pop than bute, its just that bute is faster and more agile, he gets of much quicker and can land shots early in fights.
