Quackiao is the DEFAULT P4P best. He gets a pass for fighting leftovers because those leftovers have big names that look good on his record. Most Pound-4-Pound lists is a joke nowadays.

I agree 100%. I don't like Pacquiao, I even believe he might be on something, but if you say he fights leftovers let's remember who Floyd fought when he was pound for pound. A leftover of Gatti, slow Baldomir and Hatton an undefeated 140 pounder made to move to 147 with no skill. Let's remember who he didn't fight: Cotto in his prime years, Mosley a still good fighter, Margarito (that was a good idea because he would have been pummeled with cast if he did), Paul Williams who was still fighting at welter. At least he fights Mosley now and we will all see he was way overrated.

Destiny Awaits Shane Mosley

Shane Mosley believes it was his destiny to meet Floyd Mayweather Jnr in the ring despite years of being avoided by the 'Money' man.

Mayweather appeared certain to fight Manny Pacquiao this year and although that megafight never came to pass, Mosley believes the fight on Saturday week is the one fans want to see.

Mosley has 'called out' his opponent for several years, having fought the best throughout his distinguished career.

The 38-year-old is enjoying a glorious twilight after regaining the WBA welterweight title against Antonio Margarito more than 12 months ago.

And one final victory against the undefeated Mayweather would cement 'Sugar' Shane's place in boxing's Hall of Fame.

"It's a fight the world wants to see," he said. "I have to be honest, I thought they were going to be able to avoid me.

"I thought they would be able to fight each other and retire. But this is the fight that had to happen. This is a fight of destiny."

Mosley, having fought at welterweight or above since stepping up from lightweight in 1999, believes he not only has a since advantage over Mayweather, but will also match him for speed.

"As a welterweight, he hasn't fought any of the top welterweights," he said. "I'll be the first one. I think I'm as fast as any fighter out there.

"I've always been one of the fastest. I've never been in the ring with Floyd, so I'm just going to do what I do best, be Sugar Shane Mosley.

"He has good hand speed, but I think my hand speed is good too.

"This is a competitive sport. This is our legacy. It's a challenge that I'm ready to take. I'm ready to go into the history books as the guy who beat Floyd Mayweather, the guy who beat everybody out there, the last man standing."

Boxingscene is getting on my nerves with this. Why do they always take something from an interview that was done a week ago and re-hash that into a new story? They do that with everyone. I don't know how many clips they've taken from 24/7 and put out an article like it was a new interview or something. Step your game up Boxingscene. I'm not a big Mayweather fan, and I'll be the first to say he gets on my nerves with some of the ignorant stuff he says, but he is held to a double standard that it seems other fighters aren't held to. If he beats Mosley in dominating fashion, then i'll wait to see the excuses come in that Mayweather has mentioned. Even though Mosley is coming off one of the(if not the best) performance of his career. They will still talk about him as if he was washed up. Even more reason for the Floyd vs Pac fight to happen, so he can quiet all naysayers.

He listens to HAymon and Ellerbe....that's for sure......but i swear he gets a bad rap........the commentators suck every one of Floyd's opponents ****s (cept Judah) during a Mayweather fight.
