Could be, could be. Also could be the fact there is no one else in boxing with the pull that Manny has. Even yesterday i told a guy boxing was my #1 sport and he asked me who my fav fighter is, i said many but Manny's got to be the best. He said "oh thats the asian dude whos got 7 weight titles isnt it?" i said yeah and i also like Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather but he hadn't heard of them!

They don`t have much in `promotional rights`` only when Manny P is fighting a Golden Balls guy. At least that`s the way it was described in several news outlets at the time.

I think that, since Oscar is a money hungry guy, always on the que vive for any opportunity, perhaps Manny P`s contract with Top Rank is approaching it`s ``due date`` and he wishes to curry favour with Manny P. to get him tp sign with Golden Balls.

Anyone who can do what Oscar did, to cause the contract dispute originally, is capable of ANYTHING...........along the same lines as Don King and Hasim Rachman, when King stole him from Cedric Kushner, leaving Kushner waiting fruitlessly in the hotel room with a contract worth over $5 mill, whilst King bamboozled Rahman with, supposedly, $500,000 in cash.........
As we all know, Rahman is not too bright. In his very first fight with King, he was KO`s by Lennox Lewis.

I'm sure thats true, but doesn't mean much.. people know both Pac and Mayweather, people really knew Floyd in 2007 big time and Manny at the end of 2008 to mid 2009. Both great fighters both deserve and get recognition.
