Mosley's ko wins you mention = shot Ricardo Mayorga, lol, who he struggled like f.uck with, and Margarito who had just been caught with his hands in the cookie jar 5 minutes earlier.

Mosley is a good fighter, used to be a great one,but he is a pale shadow of the fighter he once was and who can blame him? The guy is nearly forty, has had a shed load of fights and hasnt fought in nearly a year and a half.

Floyd wins this at a canter. I aint staying up to watch it,put it that way.

Damn if Mosley wins (what if) will you remeber what you said b/c in the event that he does do the unthinkable Mayweather will have lost to a fragminted shot version of the old Shane Mosley. U will probably come up with something creative like Shane had his best fight in years against Mayweather or all old fighters have 1 good fight left in him.

Not at all. If that happens it would more likely indicate that Mayweather has slipped during his lay-off. The Marquez fight didnt tell us anything really. Fighters dont improve as they approach forty, and are you seriously trying to say that Mosley is better now than he was 8-10 years ago?

spoken like a real fan of the sport, the reality is Floyd's 2 year retirement will comeback to bite him in the ass this saturday, thats what he gets for not having a good back up plan instead of beating Marquez then Pacquaio b/c besides the southpaw stance Mosley is more capable of punishing Mayweather than Pacquaio. Mosley may not be as fast(althoug I think he's faster) his power is 3x more than Marquez hell I'll even say Mosley is the strongest man Mayweather will have ever faced.

He's right though, it may have been 18 months since Shane had a real fight but it's been 4 years or more since Floyd even made sure that he was battle tested.

There is something to be said about consistently exposing yourself to the best competition and what it does for a fighters "edge".

I don't pretend to know which Shane Mosley will show up in the ring on Saturday. All I can say for sure is that if the best Shane Mosley shows up it will be something above and beyond anything that Floyd has faced in his pro career.

If a washed up Shane shows up (like Ruiz against Haye) than it will be easy pickings for Floyd.

If a primed Shane shows up we may have the makings of a Mayweather fight that is actually worth talking about.

Not necessarily that he's better 8-10 years ago but the old shane seemed to rely on out fighting his opponent. With his advanced age he's become better at using all of his resources instead of relying on his speed and streghth, with Margarito his plan was to attack his body early b/c he knew Marg could take brutal punishment upstairs. I knew Cotto would be a nightmare for Shane b/c similar to Wright they both use their dominate hand to jab with so Mosley was forced to be honest and hesitate jumping in with shots. I'll clarify cuz im all over the place lol. Winky Wright is a right handed fighter that fights in a southpaw stance, so his jab is brutal, Miguel is a left handed fighter that boxes in a conventional stance thus making his jab brutal as well, only Miguel can switch and could make it an early night with that left hook to the body.

theres alot of truth in that, lets just hope the Ruiz bit was a stretch b/c I would throw my remote at the television if he fights anything like the quiet man on saturday lol

If Floyd gets FTKO by Shane...damn shame, that would simply show floyd's a real fraud getting ktfo by a near 40 yo shane who's been in layoff for almost 2 years.
