Anyone else think Valuev will beat Solis?

I do, Solis isn't serious, he's overweight, and honestly I don't think he's that good really. His footwork looks to be getting slower and slower, and he will be the much smaller (though probably wider) man against Valuev. He doesn't have the fast, one hit ko power needed to get Valuev out of there, so I see this being a 12 rounder, and Solis getting jabbed quite a bit. It'll probably be close, but I think Solis gets tired towards the end and Valuev pinches a decision.

I'll bet on Odlanier Solis in this one.

Valuev is old, slow and has been inactive with only one fight in nearly two years.

I don't. I actually think Solis is going to give Valuev his worse loss of his career, and could possibly even send him to the canvas.

Fat or not, Solis does have tremendous skills and he is one of the most skilled heavyweights in the game, period.

If Solis is good and for real there's no way he will lose this fight

Unless it's in Germany, Maybe it will be but we will see.

Solis is the kind of guy to get you out of there early so it will be interesting to see how he deals with Valuev. Solis should win this fight though

I expect a Solis KO. I know Barrett was shot to ****, but the way an overweight Solis put his lights out was shocking to me.

It really wasn't that shocking, Barett actually took a lot of punches, it wasn't like one punch and he's out cold, and thats what it'd take that kind of power to ko valuev, plus you gotta punch up too, Solis is even shorter than Haye, who had difficulty getting purchase in his power punches on Valuev

While it's true that Solis has yet to fight a professional fight of this "high level", he does have plenty of experience fighting taller fighters (Kevin Burnett, Julius Long come to mind). Solis was still able to hurt them BAD.

Solis has real power and alot of people complain about his weight, but honestly I only see his shoulders getting bigger with each fight, not his gut. Maybe I'm the only one, but I find him exciting. Watching Arreola vs Adamek the other night, I thought Solis would starch them both.

Valuev on the other hand, seems to be getting worse and worse with each bout.

              I respectfully disagree with TS.
              Solis KO, inside 8

Truthfully, I only see the Klits beating Solis right now.
