It's not about micro-analyzing. It's just a display of how ****** he is. 100% respect for him as a fighter - phonemenal. But , you would NEVER hear **** like that come out of the mouth of a smarter fighter. (i.e. mosley, SRL, juan diaz...)

i already explained this in another thread.

floyd thinks gorillas and dogs are ferocious beats, but gorillas are actually quite passive and dogs are pets.

but floyd makes salient points... he bluffs alot, just like a gorilla charge which is meant to scare you, but isn't a real threat. also, like a dog, floyd's bark is worse than his bite.

so in effect floyd is right when he says he's a gorilla-dog.
