There was no secret that Oscar was a hell of a lot bigger than Floyd that night, Im not sure what exact weight was but i think it was 12-13 pounds... I dont see Sugar outweighing floyd by no more than 4 pounds... With Baldy, Oscar outweighing him he was kind of forced to pot shot because they were trying use their weight at their advantage... Hatton was trying to fight on the inside and make it clinch and hold fight so he had resorted to potshotting

aight Gregg...see these are pretty valid points that CAN be elaborated on and can lead to a good discussion

however, i dont believe it will change the gameplan for floyd...i dont really think he's gonna change a formula that has been successful...regardless of how the weights are

i believe that his claim of 'there's no blueprint to beat me' is truly heartfelt...thus far, his style has yet to be tested

we even saw it in the JMM bout...he was MUCH smaller, slower, and shopworn than Floyd yet the risks were minimal

i saw him hurt and stagger JMM on many occasions only to lean back and revert back to the game plan

it will be a rare sight to see PBF go balls out in this particular fight...especially against a Shane that's focused and waiting for those exchanges

the truth of the matter is, even if Shane gave his chin ala mayorga, i dont think Floyd would take the risk...

im sure he will be perfectly content in pitching a shutout and now going for the KO

      PUNK ASS!!!!

Sorry Sir there will be NO KNOCKOUT AT ALL against shane mosley. Mosley WILL NEVER BE SLIGHTLY STUNNED. FLoyds only chance at a win is a decision and thats getting more and more unlikely the way Shanes camp is getting him prepped for this
so you think Shane wins huh? how do u think the fight will play out than?

something tells me that Floyd was not even interested in a KO victory over Marquez. After the KD in the 3rd Floyd never went after him and there was a couple of times I felt that if floyd just let his hands go the fight would be over with. I dont know if he just wanted to get a full 12 rounds in to shake off the rust or if he wanted to show everyone how easily he was dominating the man that Packy went life and death with twice???

Back to Shane now, I dont see Shane changing his gameplan up either....
Ive said this before but @ 38 years old... you are who you are at this point in your career....He needs to make this an all-out war and I dont think he is going to do that.. he might try it in the first couple rounds by after he gets hit a couple times he is going slowly go back to his "norm", what he feels to be comfortable

Floyd can outbox Shane. He can't KO him though. He won't even try imo. If he did, he's giving Shane his best chance to ice him.

im sure a KO finish would have been a preferred statement...a KO finish in the later rounds so that he could have gotten some rounds under his belt

he was in full control of that fight from the opening bell but he was content on cruising

yeah that was strange to me.....

Shane has to make this a dog fight and get into Floyds head because if he makes this about who has the better skills there will be a stoppage

i mean think about it...what better statement could floyd have when it comes to JMM than 'i put to sleep the guy you had wars with' ?

its not like JMM has one-punch KO power...it just wasnt worth the risk

if you engage in toe to toe, besides taking punishment, you can get injured...a safety-first fighter, especially one in control of a fight, probably has that in their mind

what more when you face a real risk in shane? a fighter that DOES have one-punch KO power at that weight...Floyd is a very smart fighter and i dont see him taking that unnecessary risk if he knows he can outpoint shane with just his natural abilities
