i like cotto. at the end of the day he isnt boxing to die in the ring, hes there to provide for himself and his family and in doing so entertain the fans, which he does. Against Marg he gave his all and came up short that night, only a saddist wants to see someone risk serious injury which was the case with that fight.

I felt that the last couple of rounds of his Pac fight were disturbing and uncalled for and I feel he hung in their to prove all his doubters wrong.

I hope Cotto wins his next fight and then retires.

        Anyone here agree or disagree?
        I agree 100%.

Cotto has a wife and a family to look out for. No fight is worth being beaten to a pulp. It's not as if he quit as soon as things got tough. The fight was grueling as soon as the bell rang and he took alot of leather before eventually deciding to quit for his own safety.

All those Cotto doubters got proved wrong about his toughness against Pacquaio though. Cotto had something to prove and even though his face was covered with swelling and blood, he kept going and trying just to prove them wrong. Props to Cotto for going through that even though he didn't have too.

lol you f'n amaze me. Morales was on the ground and said no more. Cotto was in the 12 round getting pumeled in the corner and the ref stopped it. Soooooooo cotto didn't quit. Boy I wish the undercard for a fight could be miguel cotto against iceta lives I would pay front row to see who would really quit. Miguel cotto is a professional prize fighter and a damn good one and you have the nerve to call him a quitter you absurd.

The reason why Cotto quit in a more blatant way is because he ran for five or six rounds straight without trying to offer any artillery. Morales at least went out on his shield somewhat.
