This fight has been talked about before, why not now?
I read Jones may not even make any money on that Hopkins debacle, at very least the guy needs to go out making some money. I was at very least hoping for him to fight some nameless bum in Florida for 29.95 on PPV and go out with a flashy W and a long speech and the whole nine yards anyway. But, then after reading about him possibly not even getting paid I thought of a fight that would be descent and could suit both fighters and Taylor came back to mind.
Taylor could use the fight for at very least a name on his resume and the version of Jones of 2010 isn't what it once was in terms of a win, it still isn't bad even Bernard thinks so. Point is Taylor could have a fight that would be interesting and test his resolve as far as moving forward and becoming a legitimate contender again, Jones is still at very least a quality fighter for anyone even now so it isn't like Taylor would have an easy fight on his hands, he'd get some credit for a victory.
Jones would have a quality guy to go against for his last fight and with questions surrounding both at different stages of there careers it could be a good fight.
Only on a Square Ring PPV 29.95 or HBO After Dark Showtime, Nothing too over the top just a fight with two name guys that are both fighting for different reasons.
