    Jones Vs Taylor...Why not?

This fight has been talked about before, why not now?

I read Jones may not even make any money on that Hopkins debacle, at very least the guy needs to go out making some money. I was at very least hoping for him to fight some nameless bum in Florida for 29.95 on PPV and go out with a flashy W and a long speech and the whole nine yards anyway. But, then after reading about him possibly not even getting paid I thought of a fight that would be descent and could suit both fighters and Taylor came back to mind.

Taylor could use the fight for at very least a name on his resume and the version of Jones of 2010 isn't what it once was in terms of a win, it still isn't bad even Bernard thinks so. Point is Taylor could have a fight that would be interesting and test his resolve as far as moving forward and becoming a legitimate contender again, Jones is still at very least a quality fighter for anyone even now so it isn't like Taylor would have an easy fight on his hands, he'd get some credit for a victory.

Jones would have a quality guy to go against for his last fight and with questions surrounding both at different stages of there careers it could be a good fight.

Only on a Square Ring PPV 29.95 or HBO After Dark Showtime, Nothing too over the top just a fight with two name guys that are both fighting for different reasons.

Jones should really retire. If he fights, I think it should be a farewell fight against someone he will beat for sure. I don't see him beating Taylor at this stage in his career. If Taylor goes for it, he can knock him out.

thats what makes the fight great, Taylor could really show up to fight and Jones may as well if he is really fighting his last fight. Both fighters could sell the fight as a comeback and best part is if they had the fight in either mans hometown either could still do good numbers there and both could draw a good crowd, they might be able to get paid and have a meaningful fight, old school style.

Also who else can taylor fight? he lost to pavlik twice he quit the torney and i doubt any of the other contenders will give him a good shot...a Jones fight could be what he needs in terms of looking good to spring board him back into the mix he was in or he could fight Hopkins again who seems content on continuing to fight, if taylor won and looked good Hopkins would make noise to avenge those losses as well. taylor could make some money and fight descent fights that could serve him alot of good if he were to win.
