The Hall Of Fame Is Small...

I went to the International Boxing Hall of Fame this past weekend...about a 4 1/2 to 5 hr drive from where I'm at in New York...its nice although its pretty small from what I expected(a damn museum lol)...

One section had plaques of all the inductees, hand casts all around, old mouthpieces, old gloves, old wraps, etc....they had a nice amount of fighter robes(Leonard, Hagler, Cuevas, K.Buchanan, etc.) . It was a $9.50 admission fee...

They have a gift shop with shirts and signed gloves and pictures as well...

They have the ring that was in Madison Square Garden until 2007(last fight was Cotto-Judah) in a seperate part of the place...

It was right off the highway in Canastota...if any1 wants to see some pics, I'll post em...

Some pics would be great. Was the trip worth it? I always wanted to go, but the drive is a bit much.

Honestly I don't think it is...I think I took a pic from outside maybe you'll be able to tell how big it is...I didn't go upstate jus for that...if I did I wudda been a lil disappointed...

I think the ONLY great time to be there is during Induction weekend which is in June...

Nobody was there when I went...there isn't anything there I would say you HAVE TO SEE...but I was goin up anyway so it was worth a stop by...

              Plenty more pics comin...

My mate flys over there from Wales (UK) a fair bit. He's met loads of the greats there like Hagler, Leonard, Duran in Tony's Bar (I think it's called). Will definately have to visit someday!
