        Both guys whooped his ass...

Dude was not top level anymore... He was just a big name, big money fight. That is it. But, he was not a top level fighter no matter how much people want to say he was.

Oscar De La Hoya May 2007:
WBC Junior Middleweight Champion of the world
          Just Knockout Ricardo Mayora
Was only a 2 to 1 underdog against Mayweather
          not 3 to 1, not 4 to 1, but 2 to 1.

He got to choose the size of the ring
He got to choose his gloves size
Hot got to choose Floyd glove size and the brand he wore
He got to choose the ref and the judges
he got to choose what weight Floyd had to come in at and not under.
Hot got to choose to the venue

I think after all the advantages Oscar gave himself, I think Mayweather deserves some credit dont you??

After all Oscar was ranked number#1 at the time in the 154 pound division.

He was #1 at 154 in who's ranking Horus? Yours? What rankings are you going by Horus. Because, if you not going by yours, then you just making **** up.

So what that he was a 2-1 underdog Horus? He was a favorite against Pac. Do you give Pac credit for the win since Pac was a big underdog?

He called all the shots against Pac and not only against Pac and Floyd but against every single opponent that he fougth against. It don't matter if it was Tito Hopkins Chavez Whitaker whoever. Oscar got every single advantage. I think after all the advantages that Oscar had GOING INTO THE FIGHT Pac deserves some credit don't you?

Or, better yet lest just be real and say that version of Oscar that both fought is just a shell of the fighter that he was in the 90's....

Jro, I understand you have agenda on these boards to try to minimize Mayweather even if it is in the smallest way. However, here is my line in the sand question for you to see how genuine you are.

What Version of De la hoya was better.

The De la hoya that fought Floyd?
                or
The De la Hoya that fought Pacquiao?

And De la hoya didnt have every advantage going into the fight against Pacquiao including weight. Please stick to the facts.

Pac version was worse but both versions was done as a fighter...

Who picked the weight for the Pac fight? I could of sworn it was Oscar. Are you not sticking with facts Horus?

He used Calderon for a little bit, Calderon was schooling his ass and they didn't spar with him again. Kinda like how they did Valero after Valero whooped his ass they said ok thanks for coming. We don't need you anymore...
